Universal Champion Brock Lesnar’s appearance on UFC TV this past weekend has rattled some cages, to say the least. Dave Meltzer pointed out on Wrestling Observer Radio today that “something’s up” because Lesnar was not mentioned at all during last night’s Monday Night Raw broadcast. Meltzer seems to think this means there must be some kind of change in Lesnar’s WWE status. What that change might be, or how it will play out, remains to be seen.
But, there is no question Lesnar will more than likely be fighting in the UFC come January. He re-entered himself into the USADA drug-testing pool last Tuesday and will be eligible to compete again come the New Year. Lesnar entered the UFC cage and shoved UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier after he had defeated Stipe Miocic. It should be noted, however, that Lesnar and Cormier have been known to be friends in real life.
Here are five things you need to know about before tonight’s Smackdown Live broadcast.
