– We noted how a few weeks ago there were advertisements for Extreme Rules that featured a six person tag in Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman & Bobby Lashley vs. Jinder Mahal, Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn and Daniel Bryan vs. Big Cass. Like many things in WWE, plans change.
Now, advertisements are promoting Reigns vs. Mahal, Bryan vs. The Miz and Ronda Rousey debuting in Pittsburgh.
Extreme Rules is the last pay per view before SummerSlam. Extreme Rules is July 15 from Pennsylvania’s PPG Paints Arena.
– Sales for WWE’s big weekend have greatly improved. NXT’s Takeover Chicago, which was struggling with ticket sales, has sold about 9,000 seats. It is not a sell-out, but considered a decent number by WWE.
As fo Sunday’s Money in the Bank, it is basically sold-out with less than 500 tickets left. The rest of the tickets are expected to move before the show begins.
