Jeff Hardy was arrested for Driving While Impaired on Saturday in Concord, North Carolina and WWE issued the following statement to PWInsider:
“Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials.”
Jeff was arrested at 10:20 and was released just over an hour later. His court date is set for April 16th in Cabarrus County. His driver’s license has been revoked for a minimum of 30 days.
CBS Sports obtained a police report which stated Jeff “ran off the roadway … striking about 105 feet of guardrail before the back end of the car spun out 90 degrees … coming to rest in the middle of the right [north]bound lane of travel.”
It was also reported Hardy’s dust up caused $8,000 worth of damage to his 2016 Cadillac and also the guardrail damage is about $5,000.
Woken Matt Hardy appears to have made a comment about the incident last night in his ‘woken’ way:
EVAH since the #7Deities have come to me, I do not put alcohol, drugs, or foreign substances into my VESSEL.
I AM MORE.
