Jim Ross suffered an injury this past weekend during the Jay White vs. Juice Robinson match at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s G1 Special event in San Francisco. Ross was flung out of his chair after the announce table was knocked into him and Ross believes he may have sustained a broken rib. He says he had difficulties getting his luggage into the overhead compartment when he was on the plane to fly home from the event yesterday.
Ross says the spot in the match was not discussed beforehand and his injury is the real thing, not part of any storyline. PWInsider reports that Ross will be seeing a doctor today.
Here is Ross’ tweet about the accident:
For the record, the ‘bump’ I took at ringside at #G1SanFrancisco was not storyline driven matter nor was it discussed.
I think I broke a rib.

Apparently people had been tagging Smackdown Women’s Champion Carmella in a Moonwalking DDT that was performed on the indies. Pete Rosenberg was one of the people to tag her and she responded saying she’d seen the video, to not tag her in it anymore, and to ‘stay tuned’. This likely means Carmella intends to add something similar to her own repertoire. The move is pretty slick and you can see it in the clip below, as well as Carmella’s tweet:

Yes, I have seen the moonwalk DDT. No need to keep tagging me in it. And if you’re wondering, I can do it better. So, stay tuned. ?
