– Despite no longer being under contract to WWE, Neville is yet to appear at any shows. There was belief that he would be a surprise for All In earlier in the month, but nothing happened. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Neville has been contacted by several promoters but the former WWE wrestler said he will be able to accept dates in the very near future.

In October 2017, Neville abruptly left WWE hours before RAW was to air. The show was supposed to feature him losing in a Cruiserweight Championship rematch to Enzo. Despite asking for his release, the contract was frozen until finally being let go last month. The two sides tried too work out a deal several times, but nothing materialized. At the time, WWE conformed that there was no non-compete clause and Neville could work anywhere he wanted.

The former WWE Cruiserweight and NXT Champion remained mostly silent on during his departure from WWE. When pertains to finding work, Neville should have no trouble as he was a known name for heading to WWE.

– Following SummerSlam, RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon made Kurt Angle take a vacation and named Baron Corbin as a temporary replacement for the role of RAW General Manager.

In a report from Cageside Seats, they stated that Angle is expected back shortly. A major question still going around is if Angle will remain General Manager or if he will start working a full time schedule.

Even before being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, Angle continued to show interest in wrestling. He wrestled his first WWE match as a late replacement for Roman Reigns and has made a few other appearances in the ring since then such as Survivor Series for Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown, being an entrant in the Greatest Royal Rumble Match and teaming with Ronda Rousey to take on Triple H & Stephanie McMahon in an entertaining bout at WrestleMania 34.

Considering Angle’s neck will never be completely healed, WWE might want to take it easy with the Olympic gold medalist. Then again, people would love to see Angle take on the likes of Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens and Shinsuke Nakamura under the WWE name.
