– Matt Hardy likes to talk in riddles, especially using the WOKEN gimmick, but his message last night was pretty clear. After teaming with Bray Wyatt from a live event from Corpus Christi, Hardy announced that he was going home. The moment seems to indicate that Hardy is retired from professional wrestling as he’s no longer advertised for any upcoming WWE shows.

After the match, Hardy put over Wyatt in the back and told the WWE cameras that he was going home to be with his wife and kids.

More from Wrestle Newz

Hardy has wrestled for 26 years; including time in major promotions such as WWE, Impact Wrestling and Ring of Honor. He won Tag Team gold in WWE nine times, was a United States Champion, Cruiserweight Champion and also held WWE’s version of the ECW Championship. He helped create the TLC Match and certainly had his share of personal problems, but always seemed to rebound. One of the biggest moments of his career was returning at WrestleMania 33 with Jeff Hardy as surprise entrants to start another round as tag champions.

WWE has been working on transitioning Hardy into a producer type role as his lower back and pelvis started fusing together. If it is the end for Hardy, what a crazy ride that seemingly ended on a high note.

– Later tonight, WWE produces their 10th installment of the Hell In A Cell pay per view. The show features two Cell Matches with Universal Champion Roman Reigns taking on Braun Strowman and SmackDown’s side has Randy Orton against Jeff Hardy.

There will also be five title match plus an intergender tag bout to bring the card to eight matches. New Day vs. Rusev & Aiden English has been confirmed for the pre-show.

WrestleNewz will have Hell In A Cell play by play coverage with the pre-show beginning at 6 PM and the main card going on at 7 PM. Should be an exciting card, which is down below; so, stay tuned for your complete coverage.
