Monday Night Raw: 8 pm EST

Seth Rollins tells Stephanie McMahon & Mick Foley that he is entering the Royal Rumble match. Braun Strowman interrupts and tells Steph & Mick that he wants Goldberg or Roman Reigns. Rollins gets in Strowman’s face about interrupting him and the two start scrapping.

Steph screams at Mick to get thing under control.

United States Championship Handicap Match: Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns (c)

Everyone enters and then as the match is about to get started Strowman comes out and Reigns rushes out to start fighting him. Then everyone ends up in the ring and there is a three on one beatdown on Reigns. Rollins comes come running out to the rescue with a chair. He unloads chairshots on all three of Reigns’ assailants. The ring is cleared leaving just Reigns & Rollins standing.

Steph comes out and says that the match is not going to end that way. She promised the WWE Universe a handicap match for the US Title so Reigns can have a little time to recuperate and it’ll resume later. As for now, since Rollins is itching for a fight so bad, he will have a match right now with Strowman. Commercial break.

Singles Match: Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman

Strowman takes early control and lays into Rollins. Commercial break.

Rollins comes back and manages to take Strowman off his feet with a flying knee. He pins and gets a two count. Strowman fires back and props Rollins up on the top turnbuckle. He steps up but Rollins manages to knock him back to the mat. Rollins hits a frog splash and gets a near-fall.

Strowman rolls outside and Rollins hits a jumping knee to his face. Rollins climbs to the top turnbuckle and leaps for a high-risk move. Strowman moves and Rollins lands across the barricade. Strowman starts dragging Rollins back to the ring but the ref calls the double count-out.

Strowman looks angrily at the ref and then grabs a chair. Rollins rolls back in the ring and Strowman comes after but Rollin holds him off and steals the chair away. He swings it wildly as Strowman tries to get near. Rollins keeps the big man at bay and eventually Strowman turns to leave as Rollins’ music starts to play.

No Winner: Double Count-Out
