John Cena, Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Finn Bálor, Intercontinental Champion The Miz and Elias compete in a Gauntlet Match tonight ahead of the first-ever 7-Man Elimination Chamber match this Sunday. Monday Night Raw: 8 pm EST

Gauntlet Match #1: Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns

Match begins and Reigns takes early control of Rollins. He holds a side headlock for a while. Rollins stands up and does an Irish whip. Reigns levels Rollins with a shoulder tackle. Rollins fires back and the two come face-to-face as it cuts to commercial.

Back again and Reigns has the side headlock on Rollins again. Rollins stands up and hits a jawbreaker to escape the hold. Reigns delivers a big shot to Rollins that renders him wobbly. Reigns whips Rollins into the corner and charges in after, only to catch a knee from Rollins. Reigns plants Rollins with a tilt-a-whirl slam for a 2-count. Reigns takes his time getting back to business and Rollins gets back in it. Rollins lands a blockbuster and then a flying clothesline.

Then Rollins clotheslines Reigns out of the ring. He goes for a suicide dive but Reigns catches him with an uppercut as he’s about to leap through the ropes. Reigns follows up with a drive-by before rolling Rollins back in the ring. Reigns lands ten clubbing blows to Rollins in the corner. Reigns employs a methodical pace until finally going for a Superman Punch. Rollins catches him and then delivers a buckle-bomb. Reigns hits the corner hard but comes out with a Superman Punch to Rollins’ cranium. Both men are down. Commercial break.

Back again and Rollins and Reigns are battling back and forth. After some false finishes and near-falls, Rollins sneaks a surprise pin for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Seth Rollins

As Reigns and Rollins have a moment together, the crowd chants “Na-na-na-na goodbye!” Then John Cena’s music hits and he comes out to the ring. Rollins attacks Cena immediately, before the match even gets underway. Commercial Break.

Gauntlet Match #2: Seth Rollins vs. John Cena

Back again and Cena has Rollins in a side headlock. Rollins stands up and lands some strikes to create some space. Rollins bounces off the ropes but Cena lays him out with a forearm. Cena takes his shirt off and gets serious. He stalks Rollins and then lands a shot. Then he whips Rollins across the ring into the corner. Rollins hits hard and then Cena applies a sleeper hold.

Rollins tries to get back in it but Cena tosses him out of the ring. The ref starts to count him out. Rollins just barely beats the count, rolling in at ‘9’. Cena lands another shot and then tells the referee to start counting again, as Rollins can barely stand. Cena tells him to stay down as he starts feebly trying to stand. Rollins pulls himself up and then Cena delivers three consecutive belly-to-belly suplexes. He pins. 1-2-… but Rollins manages a kick-out.

Cena shakes his head as it cuts to commercial.

Back again and Rollins is struggling to his feet as Cena stalks. Cena goes for an Attitude Adjustment but Rollins slides off and nails Cena with a DDT for the 2-count. Both men stand slowly and start trading shots. Cena explodes and delivers a fallaway stunner and pins but Rollins gets the shoulder up. Cena looks annoyed and he tells Rollins to stay down. He hovers around Rollins and allows Rollins to stand up. Coach points out that Cena is giving Rollins a break and not staying on him.

Rollins approaches and Cena delivers a right hand that drops Rollins to his knees. Cena lands a shot and pins but Rollins kicks out at one this time. Rollins stands up and yells angrily at Cena, trying to amp himself up. They exchange but Cena delivers a shot that knocks Rollins down, halting the momentum. Rollins ends up on the apron and Cena runs into him, sending Rollins hurdling to the floor. The ref starts to count him out.

Rollins barely drags himself to the ring and slides back inside at the last second once again. Cena has a look of disbelief as Michael Cole lauds Rollins’ heart. Commercial break.

Back again and it’s the same story. Rollins gets to his feet slowly and then Cena lands some shoulder-tackles. Rollins tries to get back in it and hits a springboard but Cena transitions right into the STF. Rollins endures and counters, hitting Cena with a slingblade. Rollins goes for a suplex-Falcon Arrowm but Cena hits a small package for a 2-count. Cena gets Rollins down and goes for a Five-Knuckle Shuffle but Rollins springs up and hits Cena with a superkick.

Cena ends up on the apron and Rollins attempts to suplex him back into the ring. Cena reverses and Rollins lands on the apron. Rollins charges Cena but Cena moves and Rollins goes shoulder-first into the ring post. Rollins tumbles down beside the steel steps. Cena lets out a yell at he charges at Rollins but Rollins moves and Cena collides with the steel steps. The ref almost counts them out but they both roll back in the ring just in time.

They are both slow to rise but then they start trading shots. Cena gets Rollins down and hits a Five-Knuckle Shuffle. Cena gets ready to close the deal but Rollins counters again and gets Cena in an STF. Michael Cole comments on the performance of Rollins. Cena gets to his feet and gets Rollins up for an AA. Rollins counters and gets Cena laid out. Rollins goes for a frog splash and nails it. He pins. 1-2-… but Cena kicks out.

Both men stand slowly until Cena quickly delivers an AA. He pins Rollins and everyone thinks it’s over. But Rollins kicks out and the crowd cheers. Rollins has been in the ring for over fifty minutes. Cena goes to the top rope and Rollins runs up to head him off. He hits Cena with a superplex-Falcon Arrow and pins. The crowd counts loudly: 1-2-… but Cena kicks out. Rollins sets up for a Curb Stomp.

He goes for it but Cena transitions into an STF. Rollins endures and gets to the bottom rope to break the hold. Cena drags him back into the middle of the ring and applies it again. Rollins fights it and survives again, reaching the rope to break the hold. Rollins rolls outside and the ref starts to count. Cena looks all but despondent over Rollins’ ability to stay in the match.

Cena brings Rollins to the top rope. He sets up for a top-rope AA. Rollins starts landing some elbows and he falls to the mat. Cena comes off with a cross-body and Rollins catches him in midair. Like something Cena would do himself, Rollins throws Cena up onto his shoulders and executes an AA to Cena. Rollins pins and the crowd counts loudly. 1-2-… but Cena gets his shoulder up. Rollins goes to the top rope.

He goes for a Phoenix splash but Cena moves. They jockey for position and suddenly Rollins delivers his signature knee strike. Cena falls to his knees and Rollins follows up with a Corb Stomp. He pins. 1-2-3.

Winner: Seth Rollins

Gauntlet Match #3: Seth Rollins vs. Elias

Elias runs out and starts swarming Rollins with attacks right away. Commercial break.

Back again and Elias has Rollins in a half-Boston crab. Cena is interviewed on a split-screen and he gives Rollins credit for what he pulled off out there. Cena admits that he’s got a lot more going on than wrestling and he is still figuring out how to balance it all. But he has to win on Sunday no matter what. Back to ring-action and Elias drops Rollins and Rollins’ knee buckles and he yells out in pain. Elias targets the injury and goes to work.

Rollins manages to fire back and he plunges Elias’ skull with a superkick for a near-fall. Elias rolls out of the ring and Rollins hits a slingshot cross-body out onto him. Back in the ring and they trade shots. Elias lands a jumping knee and a Drift Away for the pinfall.

Winner: Elias

The crowd boos loudly as Rollins’ run comes to an end. As Rollins rolls out of the ring, the audience gives him a round of applause. Chants of “Thank you Seth” are heard. Finn Balor’s music hits and he gets an ovation.

Gauntlet Match #4: Elias vs. Finn Balor

Balor runs out and they start things aggressively. Balor is about to hit a Coup De Grace on Elias but Elias rolls out of the ring for a regroup. Commercial break.

Back again and Elias has Balor in a submission. Balor stands up and Elias hits a snap mare and drops a knee. He yells out “Who wants to walk with Elias?” Rollins is interviewed on a split screen. He says he pinned two of the best in the world, and he guess that’s something, but he has to win the Elimination Chamber on Sunday. That’s all that matters. Back to ring-action and Elias hits an axe-handle to Balor’s back.

Elias rolls out and slams Balor’s arm off the apron. The crowd chants, “We want Strowman!” Elias continues working on Balor’s shoulder. Cole points out and none of these guys are going to be 100% going into Sunday’s Chamber match. Elias has an armlock. Balor gets up and they trade shots until Balor hits an overhead kick. Both men sell. Balor then gets fired up. He lays Elias out a few times and lands a chop across his chest.

He whips Elias to the corner but Elias catches Balor coming in. Elias goes to the top rope and Balor knocks him to the floor with a kick. Outside the ring, Balor drop kicks Elias into the barricade. Back in the ring and Balor hits a slingblade. He’s putting it all together but then Elias halts the momentum with a clothesline. Elias delivers a sitout powerbomb for a near-fall. Commercial break.

Back again and Balor punts Elias’ face from the apron. Balor grabs a headlock and Elias throws him into the ring post. Back in the ring and Elias applies a bourgeoise armbar. Elias raises his hip and wrenches on the arm. Balor escapes and the two exchange. Balor hits a slingblade and then drop kicks Elias into the corner. Balor goes to the top rope and lands a Coup De Grace for the 3-count.

Winner: Finn Balor

Gauntlet Match #5: Finn Balor vs. The Miz

The Miztourage comes out to the stage and Balor is watching them when The Miz attacks him from behind. Miz spikes Balor with a big DDT and pins but Balor gets the shoulder up. Miz tries for a few more pins to no avail. Miz kicks Balor in the face a couple times. He pins but Balor kicks out. Miz taunts Balor and Balor lands a punch. Irish whip and Miz drives a knee into Balor’s gut and throws him out of the ring. The ref starts to count Balor out.

Miz goes out and throws Balor shoulder-first into the barricade. Miz goes to work on the shoulder, delivering various attacks isolating the shoulder. Commercial break.

Back again and Miz is in control. Elias is interviewed on a split screen and Elias says that on Sunday everyone is gunna know what WWE stands for. Bac to ring-action and Miz lands his “It” kicks. Miz winds up for the last one and Balor ducks it and lands some shots of his own. Balor puts Miz down with a elbow and pins for a 2-count. Balor whips Miz corner to corner, following up with clotheslines.

Miz gets back in it now. Balor gets hit by the Miztourage when the ref isn’t looking and Miz almost gets the pinfall. Balor bounces off the ropes and ducks a couple Miz shots and then he flips over the top rope out onto the Miztourage. Back in the ring and Balor is getting fired up until Miz crotches Balor on the top rope. Balor tumbles to the mat and Miz hits a Skull-Crushing Finale for the 3-count.

Winner: The Miz

Gauntlet Match #6: The Miz vs. Braun Strowman

Strowman’s music hits and Miz remembers who he’s facing next. Miz tries to run for it and Strowman chases him down and drags him back to the ring. He launches Miz back into the ringside area and poses for the crowd as it cuts to commercial.

Back again and Strowman throws Miz high into the air and across the ring. Miz crashes to the mat and grimaces in pain. Strowman throws Miz across the ring the other way. Miz dodges an incoming Strowman and tries to land some kicks but Strowmans stifles that attack and lays Miz out with a shot. Finn Balor is interviewed on the split screen and he says he’s going to win the Chamber match and then beat Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania.

Back to ring-action and Strowman clubs Miz’s lifeless frame. Miz is in fetal position. Strowman charges at him and Miz pulls down the top rope and sends Strowman toppling over and out to the floor. He lands on his feet and as Miz tries to come around with an attack, Strowman regains control. Back in the ring and suddenly Miz hits a Skull-Crushing Finale. He pins but Strowman bench presses him out of the ring at the 2 mark.

Strowman ends up hitting Miz with a Running Powerslam for the pinfall. Braun Strowman wins the Gauntlet Match.

Winner: Braun Strowman

Strowman is asked if his mindset will change on Sunday, considering he’s never been in a Chamber match before. Strowman says it’ll be the same as it was tonight and then at WrestleMania he’s coming for that Beastie Boy Brock Lesnar. Strowman then runs to the ring and starts putting a beating on the Miztourage. Miz runs away and Strowman chases him. They disappear backstage.

But then Miz comes rolling out to the main stage again and Strowman in stalking him and throwing him around. Strowman throws Miz in the ring and hits him with a Running Powerslam. The crowd cheers.
