– The injury bug continues to strike in NXT. This time, Riddick Moss has suffered a torn achilles tendon. On the Wresting Observer Radio, they noted how he will miss about eight months of action. There’s no word on when the injury occurred, but he was seen with crutches at the TV tapings from several days ago.
Oddly enough, his former tag team partner Tino Sabatelli also suffered an injury only weeks ago. He will also miss six to eight months of action due to a torn pectoral.
Moss and Sabatelli bagan taming in October 2016 and just split up after losing to Heavy Machinery.
– There were some early problems purchasing tickets for the major ‘All In’ show due to heavy traffic, but that matter was cleared up. The event sold-out within an hour with 10,000 tickets being purchased. It will be the largest Indy show ever held in the United States. We know the Cody Rhodes will take on the NWA Heavyweight Champion at the event, which is currently held by Nick Aldis; who is best known as Magnus from his Impact Wrestling days.
Other confirmed names include: The Young Bucks, Marty Scurll, Adam Page, Kenny Omega, Stephen Amell, Tessa Blanchard, Deonna Purrazzo, Fenix, Pentagon Jr., Chelsea Green, Joey Janela, Penelope Ford, Kazuchika Okada, Jay Lethal, Britt Baker, Matt Cross and Rey Mysterio.
Tickets went for about $28-$153 and are already being resold in the $1,000 range in the secondary markets. The show will be September 1 and comes from Illinois’ Sears Centre Arena.
