Crown Jewel will happen, with some slight adjustments as John Cena and Daniel Bryan refused to work the show. An interesting addition is Renee Young to the announce team according to Pro Wrestling Sheet. The idea to have Renee call the show was set back in September and probably something WWE had to clear with officials from Saudi Arabia.

Due to a difference in culture, men and women have have different rights in Saudi Arabia. This was apparent at the Greatest Royal Rumble earlier in the year. No women worked the show, yet there was criticism after a WWE Network commercial aired during the show that featured females.

Renee has been breaking several boundaries. After working as a part time guest on the RAW announce team, she was quickly promoted to a permanent spot alongside Michael Cole and Corey Graves. On Sunday, Renee was part of the historic Evolution event; where she also called the action.

– Speaking of Evolution, the card started with Trish Status & Lita getting the better of Mickie James & Alicia Fox in a tag team match. Alexa Bliss was supposed to be involved, but replaced by Fox due to a concussion. The two also worked a 10 woman tag team on Monday’s RAW. That should be their final match until we get closer to the Royal Rumble in January.

PWInsider noted how WWE plans to use Trish and Lita down the road. While they will not be regulars on TV, WWE wants them to work the major pay per views and have already discussed WrestleMania 35.

Right now, there are no confirmed plans for either WWE Hall of Famer at WrestleMania. There has been speculation  of WWE introducing tag titles for the female superstars and Stephanie McMahon said last week that day will happen sooner than later.

At Evolution, Trish and Lita received a warm reception from the crowd and their match was well received. So, it seems we will be getting some Attitude Era stars working with the new breed of superstars in the near future.
