Dominik Gutiérrez, the 21 year old son of Rey Mysterio, recently started training at Lance Storm’s Storm Wrestling Academy in Canada. The program just began and runs for three months.

When Mysteiro was looking to sign with a wrestling promotion, one of his requests that Dominik also work at the same place. We are not sure if part of the deal Mysterio signed with WWE allows for Dominik to work the Performance Center after his time training at Storm’s ends.

Fans might remember Dominik from appearing during the Rey vs. Eddie Guerrero storyline about 14 years ago. The feud would culminate at SummerSlam, where Rey won a classic ladder match against Eddie after Vickie Guerrero got involved. Sort of tasteless storyline, but Mysterio and Guerrero always knew how to steal show.

Since deciding on a career in pro wrestling, Dominik has started to hide his face on social media posts. He did however take a few photos at the Lance Storm’s Storm Wrestling Academy with sone familiar faces as seen below.

– Sami Zayn is still recovering after undergoing surgery on both rotator cuffs. He should be back around WrestleMania 35, but WWE might hold off until after the big show unless they have a major storyline in the works.

In his first WWE related appearance, Sami will be at the grand opening of Adventureland in Blackwood, New Jersey on September 29 and then New York Comic Con on October 6.
