Rich Swann’s lawyer, Ian M. Pickens at Meldon Law, released a statement to Sporting News. Pickens filed a note of appearance to indicate his firm would be representing Swann in his case.
Read below for Pickens’ full statement:
“At this point, no criminal charges have been filed officially against him so depending on how that process plays out will determine our scope of representation. We’re hopeful for a fair and quick resolution on behalf of Mr. Swann, but ultimately the state’s attorney will make their decision (on potential charges) when they deem it appropriate. We’re working on the case now and things we may do to assist Mr. Swann. But as far as specifics, I can’t comment on that.”
Scott Hall reportedly got into an altercation with fellow WWE legend King Kong Bundy at a fan convention recently in New York.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Hall was ‘messed up’ and started verbally attacking Bundy. Brutus ‘The Barber’ Beefcake, who was also in attendance, said that eventually Bundy snapped and wrapped his hands around Hall’s throat.
According to Beefcake:
“He was in a vodka rage and started messing with the wrong guy, King Kong Bundy, and things went bad for him.”
