WWE posted the following statement to announce that Ronda Rousey is getting set to perform in Europe next month.
Ronda Rousey makes her European debut during WWE Live this May
With a triumphant WrestleMania debut under her belt, “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey will compete in Europe for the first time under a WWE banner during four dates of this May’s WWE Live tour.
The Baddest Woman on the Planet will appear on the May 16 date in Geneva, Switzerland, followed by May 17 in Vienna, Austria, May 18 in Turin, Italy, and May 19 in Paris, France.
Whom Rousey will face has yet to be determined, but given the show-stealing performance the former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion put on at WrestleMania, the events are sure to be must-see.
Rousey is coming off a blockbuster performance at WrestleMania 34 and the WWE Universe over in Europe will likely be chomping at the bit to see her in action. Rousey is going to have to start working with some of the other women and getting comfortable with everyone. However, it seems like Stephanie McMahon has taken a special interest and will in some way or another be involved as a persistent heel to Rousey as the badass babyface.
Regardless of who Rousey faces, expect Stephanie to have her hands in the jar at all times, much like the Steve Austin & Vince McMahon feud. It’s a good probability that Stephanie wants to iterate her own version of that classic feud for the women’s division in 2018.
