After Monday’s RAW segment with Shawn Michaels and Undertaker, there was speculation that the WWE Hall of Famer might come out for retirement. Now, that seems more like a possibility as the Wrestling Observer Newsletter stated that Michaels plans on wrestling one more match.
On RAW, Shawn Michaels hyped the Undertaker vs. Triple H for the last time ever at Super Show-Down on October 6. Undertaker made a surprise appearance and they traded several personal jabs.
The location for Michaels’ return is currently set for the November 2 WWE event from Saudi Arabia. Apparently, WWE wanted to Michaels to work at the Greatest Royal Rumble, but nothing materialized. The bout is currently being discussed as a tag team match with Michaels teaming with Triple H against Undertaker and a partner to be named. Kane would make for a strong tag team partner if his injury is healed in time.
At WrestleMania XXVI, Undertaker defeated Michaels in the main event to force HBK into retirement.
From a personal perspective, Michaels wrestling again has been something fans have talked about for years. I do wish he stays retired and keeps his word to the fans. Considering how Michaels looked to be in phenomenal shape on RAW, he can probably still deliver inside the ring.
