– With Shawn Michaels appearing on this Monday’s RAW and also being advertised for the Super Show-Down, there has been talk if the WWE Hall of Famer will play role in Undertaker vs. Triple H. The running theory is for Michaels to reprise his role from WrestleMania 28, where he was special referee. The WrestleMania 28 match was billed as the End of an Era, but apparently things changed six years later as those legends in the sport will battle again.
Undertaker has made a few appearances over the last year. He squashed John Cena at WrestleMania 34, worked a tag team match at a live event form Madison Square Garden and defeated Rusev in a casket match at the Greatest Royal Rumble. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were defeated at WrestleMania 34 and then “The Game” lost to Cena to open the Greatest Royal Rumble
The Super Show-Down is October 6 from Australia’s Melbourne Cricket Ground and airs live on the WWE Network.
– Speaking of the Super Show-Down, WWE is having trouble selling out the show without handing free tickets out. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted how WWE mentioned they were going to sell 80,000 tickets in past promos, but have changed their videos to feature 70,000 available seats. The biggest selling point of the show is Undertaker vs. Triple H for the last time ever.
Evolution, WWE’s first all female pay per view, is also not sold out. They went on sale last week and there are still tickets available in most sections. Considering the show is in the tri-state area, there was hope that tickets would have sold quicker. WWE believes they will sell out the Nassau Coliseum, which holds almost 11,000 fans.
Evolution ins October 28 and features talent from the past and present; with all women’s title in WWE, NXT, NXT UK and the Mae Young Classic finals being decided.
