– WWE is yet to confirm Shawn Michaels return to the ring, but all signs point to Crown Jewel in November. The running idea is for Michaels & Triple to take on Undertaker & Kane. Now, there is talk of Michaels competing in at least another match for WWE.
According to @WrestleVotes, Undertaker vs. Michaels is being looked at for Survivor Series or Royal Rumble. The feud between Michaels and Undertaker is a decade old; as Undertaker defeated Michaels at WrestleMania 26 to end the WWE Hall of Famer’s career.
We will certainly have a better picture after next week’s Super Show-Down from Australia. While the idea of Michael’s coming out of retirement is something people have dreamed about, his decision to stay true to his word was what made the retirement match almost nine years ago so special. But then again, if they top their top WrestleMania 25 match, fans will be talking about the feud for years to come.
– We have not seen Neville in a year and despite being allowed to compete by WWE. Neville’s side has basically gone silent when contacted by promoters. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Neville has not shown interest in wrestling at this time or even spoken to many people.
In August, WWE finally released Neville after walking out of the company back in October 2017. The story was Neville not being happy with WWE’s direction of his character and after learning he would lose his Cruiserweight Championship rematch to Enzo on RAW, he left the show early. Both sides tried to work on their problems, but nothing ever materialized.
Neville was one of the biggest Indy names at the time of signing with WWE. He found success in NXT, becoming their World Champion but never found a major storyline on the main roster before turning heel and joining the 205 Live brand.
