Smackdown Live: 8 pm EST

Show opens up and Randy Orton comes out to the ring. Orton says Jeff Hardy called him out last week and that didn’t turn out well for him. He shows the clip from last week of him ruthlessly assaulting Jeff. Orton asks the audience if they believe him yet. Orton made a vow to the people to take down every star they’ve held on a mantle. He says he’s going to get so violent that people will want to change the channel. But they won’t. Because they will want to see Orton defeated. Even now they hope Jeff Hardy comes running down to beat him.

But he won’t. He won’t. Orton says he’s never gotten the respect he deserves from the audience or the people in the back. He was the youngest world champion ever. He’s won many titles of multiple occasions and has beaten the best of the best and still people don’t respect him. Well everyone has made their choice. And so has Orton. He’s going to destroy everyone they’ve ever held dear. What is to come is on the heads of each and every one of the fans watching right now. Orton says they can call him whatever they want but he’ll be known simply as R.K.O.

WWE Champion AJ Styles comes out to the ring. The crowd chants his name as he takes it all in. Styles says Samoa Joe made things personal last week when he talked about Styles’ family. Styles says he does this for his family because that’s what he supposed to do as a real man. And yes, Styles has missed some little league games. But he just celebrated 15 years with his wife. The sacrifice is that his wife is basically a single parent because he’s always on the road.

But on special occasions you give your family what they want. That’s why WWE superstars are there working on the road is to take care of them. But what pisses Styles off the most is that Joe has known him and his family long before coming to WWE. They paid their dues together. Styles says Joe won’t be walking out of SummerSlam as the WWE Champion. He’ll be lucky if he walks out at all.
