Smackdown Live: 8 pm EST

New Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose comes out for a segment of the Ambrose Asylum. He introduces his guest, former IC Champ The Miz.

Miz comes out with Maryse. He starts to cut a promo on Ambrose, saying that every day Ambrose holds that title it loses prestige. Then he announces that he is entering the Royal Rumble match. He then accuses Ambrose of unfairly acquiring the title last week and tells him he should do the right thing and hand it back over.

Ambrose sarcastically says that he’s right and that he does have something to give him after all. Miz says that everyone claims Ambrose is unhinged and unwashed but he’s actually a sensible guy. Then Ambrose gives Miz one of his own Miz Participation Awards. Miz attacks Ambrose and lays it on him. Then he holds Ambrose’s arms behind his back and Maryse winds up to slap him. At the last second, Ambrose ducks and Maryse’s slap connects across the face of Miz himself.

Maryse is mortified as Ambrose walks to the back satisfied.

Nikki Bella is walking through the halls backstage and Natalya attacks her from behind and says, “See you out there Nikki.”

Women’s Singles Match: Natalya vs. Nikki Bella

The two women waste no time and scrap all around the ringside area and all over the ring. Eventually officials come out and try to break them up but are unsuccessful. Natalya throws Nikki outside, follows, punches her in the face and then applies a Sharpshooter out of the floor.

No Winner

Dolph Ziggler is interviewed about his recent erratically violent behavior. He simply stares into space, doesn’t answer the question and then walks away.
