– There remains belief within WWE that Daniel Bryan will leave once his contract ends on September 1. Wrestling Standard states that WWE is rushing through some storylines on the chance Bryan leaves in less than two months.

Before WWE cleared Bryan to return for in-ring action, many thought he would leave the promotion when his contract was up. That tune has slightly changed, but there remains uncertainty.

The idea being tossed around is for The Miz to cost Team Hell the titles at Extreme Rules. That would lead to The Miz vs. Bryan at SummerSlam and Hell in a Cell. All plans could change if Bryan does re-sign.

It should be noted that Bryan recently hired the same agency that handles John Cena’s contract negotiations.
