The WWE has released The Vaudevillains’ Simon Gotch. The official statement read,

“WWE has come to terms on a mutually agreed upon release with Simon Gotch as of today, April 5, 2017. WWE wishes Gotch the best in all his future endeavors.”

After an impressive reign as NXT tag team champions, the duo moved to the main roster where they rarely found success. At one point, Simon Gotch got heat for an altercation with Sin Cara in July. He’s struggled to score any wins on TV in recent months.

This could be the start of several releases as WWE has been known to let talent go in bulk after WrestleMania.
