Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer confirmed on the Observer message board that the reason WWE did not sign former Tough Enough contestant Gabi Castrovinci to a developmental deal was because something “very troubling” about her past came up.

“Gabi Castrovinci would have been signed, but something very troubling about her past came up. It was really big, but I don’t know what it was. But it was like hands off pretend she was never here.”

We have reported in the past that WWE is telling talents looking to be signed by WWE to delete anything on social media that could cost them a potential job with the company.
