– The WWE has reportedly signed a former Ring of Honor (ROH) Champion. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Punishment Martinez should be heading to the WWE Performance Center in the near future. He should report to the WWE Performance Center before October ends.

During the weekend, Martinez dropped in ROH TV Championship to Jeff Cobb. He won the title back in June, defeating Silas Young.

Martinez trained at the Monster Factory and joined ROH in 2015. Besides being a champion for the promotion, he also won the 2017 Survival of the Fittest tournament and seemed to be someone that ROH was ready to elevate to the next level.

– Speaking of Ring of Honor, they are now short one of their top female superstars as Tenille Dashwood is injured. At the recent ROH tapings, Dashwood came out wearing a sling and revealed she was suffering from a shoulder injury for the past six months. She will require surgery ands there is no timeframe for a return. Besides the injured shoulder, Dashwood also noted that she suffers from a skin condition called autoimmune disease. She has spoken about the skin condition in previous interviews.

Last week, Dashwood was unsuccessful in her attempt to capture the Women of Honor Championship. She passed out due to the arm bar submission from Sumie Sakai at the ROH’s Death Before Dishonor pay per view.

While the name Dashwood might not sound too familiar, many know her as Emma in WWE. While in WWE, Emma really struggled to find her place. She was paired with Santino Marella and had a happy going gimmick. She would disappear from TV and for several months vignettes aired about her return; using the name Emmalina. WWE unexpectedly changed their decision and Emma returned has a heel. Her final few appearances were losing to Asuka before leaving WWE in October 2017.
