– Once again, WWE is interested in signing Walter to a contract according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. There was lots of interest about signing Keith Lee and Walter together, but there were issues with Walter and Germany’s wXw. Another major reason is that the Australian born wrestler doesn’t want to be away from his family for long periods of time.
Walter turned 31 years old in August and stands six foot and four inches tall; weighing 310 pounds. He has been the world and tag team champion in wXw and also had an amazing match in 2017 there against Zack Sabre Jr. He has also worked and won titles in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and Progress World Champion.
WWE has thought about having him sign a UK deal, which allows Walter to work outside of the United States and stay close to his family. The only places he couldn’t work would be events that air on TV.
– Paul Orndorff, who has wrestled for WWE, WCW, NWA, Smokey Mountain Wrestling and others promotions, desperately needs money to help save his house and for medical bills. The WWE Hall of Famer now has a GoFundMe campaign set, with a goal of $10,000. Half of that money is needed for the property tax that is due October 1 and the rest is for medical needs.
His son, Travis Paul Orndorff, set the account up and provided the following description.
“After entertaining the world over, “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff sacrificed his mind and body and is now in desperate financial abyss. He is in need of 5 thousand dollars to pay his property taxes or he will lose his house. We need to hit that goal by October 1st. The additional funds will allow him to go to his medical visits and pay for medication. He is unable to travel to visit his fans and sign autographs. Thank you for your donation and the largest donation submitted by 10/1 of at least $500 will receive his “Mr. Wonderful” black and gold robe, if we hit our 10k dollar goal. God bless.”
As of now, they have raised half of their goal with $5,000. To donate, please click here.
