– Wally Yamaguchi, known as Yamaguchi-San in WWE, passed away at the age of 61. No word on the cause of death, but he suffered a stroke in 2017.
He joined WWE in 1998 as the manger of the stable Kaientai (Dick Togo, Mens Teioh and Funaki). Eventually, he would be part of a storyline that is still addressed today. After Val Venis slept with Yamaguchi’s wife, he tried to chop off Venis’ penis. Venis was was tied in the back and Yamaguchi tried to chop off his man parts. The camera went blank and the next week we learned that Venis was saved last minute. It was truly an unforgettable moment and something that defined the Attitude Era.
Tokyo Championship Wrestling will be hosting a memorial show on March 13. From everyone at WrestleNewz, we send our condolences to Yamaguchi’s friends and family.

WWE has offered Styles a nice chunk of change with less dates, which is something the 41 year old wrestler probably wants.
The biggest challenge for WWE re-signing Style will be All Elite Wrestling (AEW). They have the money to match anything WWE offers and they are not currently running shows every week like WWE does. Plus, Styles has close friends in AEW, which helps the upstart promotion.
Still, the belief is Styles will stick around with WWE. While not confirmed, he seems set to challenge Randy Orton at WrestleMania 35.
